Are you a Senior Control Systems Engineer with a passion for automation and software solutions? Do you have experience designing and commissioning PLC and HMI software? We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team!
About the Role: As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control software solutions, conducting in-house testing, and commissioning software on-site for customers. You will work closely with project teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Controls System Engineer:
- Develop and implement PLC software solutions (Siemens TIA, Rockwell PLC range)
- Design and integrate HMI and SCADA systems (LabVIEW, RS View, TIA Portal)
- Conduct safety programming and compliance testing
- Perform software testing, debugging, and validation
- Commission systems on-site and perform Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT)
- Provide diagnostic support and training to end-users
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 and health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Preferably a Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mechatronics
- 5+ years of experience in automation, automotive, or process industries
- Proficiency in PLC programming & control system design
- Understanding of hardware design, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion control
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel for installations and support
