Rise10 Recruitment are currently supporting the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a Controls Engineering team, with hybrid working available.
This is an opportunity to play a key role within the wider Engineering and Project Delivery teams, producing detailed electrical designs, circuit diagrams, component layouts, bills of materials and calculations for automated warehouse systems.
The Role
Reporting to the Electrical Design Manager, you will work as part of the Electrical Design team to develop high-quality electrical solutions that meet project requirements and relevant technical and safety standards.
You will work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Installation teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required scope and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality electrical designs that meet project requirements and relevant technical standards.
- Produce electrical solutions using Eplan and AutoCAD for installation and service support teams.
- Produce Bills of Materials and process documentation to support efficient procurement of required parts.
- Produce safety solutions to current safety standards and power calculations to support the overall solution design.
- Produce technical documentation to support other departments in the execution of their tasks.
- Work with the Project Engineering team to coordinate electrical, control and mechanical requirements and deliver an integrated design solution.
- Produce detailed circuit diagrams, component layouts, BOMs and calculations as required.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues identified within electrical design.
- Proactively work with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Installation teams to support project delivery. xgikmsk
