On offer is an excellent opportunity for a Technician to join a multibillion turnover aircraft company, with dedicated training, development, and career options at an industry-leading EASA 145 facility.
You will work in a specialist team handling a variety of metals including chrome, nickel, silver, and tin, performing processes such as heat treatment, non-destructive testing, nickel plating, and quality checks.
Ideally, you will be located within a commutable distance to Ramsgate and have a background in a hands-on engineering role such as machine shop or precision machining.
The Role:
- Dedicated training and technical development, including but not limited to Level 2/3 engineering qualification, non-destructive testing, 5S lean manufacturing processes, and Part 145 regulation requirements.
- Daily tasks involve electroplating components from various aircraft platforms, with processes including Cadmium, Nickel, Chrome, Silver, Tin, Copper, and Phosphate plating.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
The Person:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
