On offer is an excellent opportunity for a Technician to join a multibillion turnover aircraft company, with dedicated training, development, and career options at an industry-leading EASA 145 facility.

You will work in a specialist team handling a variety of metals including chrome, nickel, silver, and tin, performing processes such as heat treatment, non-destructive testing, nickel plating, and quality checks.

Ideally, you will be located within a commutable distance to Ramsgate and have a background in a hands-on engineering role such as machine shop or precision machining.

The Role:

  1. Dedicated training and technical development, including but not limited to Level 2/3 engineering qualification, non-destructive testing, 5S lean manufacturing processes, and Part 145 regulation requirements.
  2. Daily tasks involve electroplating components from various aircraft platforms, with processes including Cadmium, Nickel, Chrome, Silver, Tin, Copper, and Phosphate plating.
  3. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

The Person:

  1. Good communication skills.
  2. Ability to work under pressure.
  3. Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
