Overview
As a Tendering Engineer, you will support the sales team by coordinating enquiries and delivering high-quality technical bids for major projects in the utilities and energy sector. You’ll collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues to craft compelling proposals and manage tender programmes and documentation. You’ll ensure timely submissions and maintain stakeholder communications throughout the bid lifecycle. This role offers exposure to the full sales cycle within a growing engineering business.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming enquiries and tender opportunities
- Prepare technical bids and tender submissions
- Review customer specifications and technical drawings
- Liaise with internal teams throughout the bid process
- Maintain bid documentation and meet submission deadlines
- Manage tender programmes
- Organise stakeholder meetings
Key requirements
- Experience in Tendering, Estimating, Bid Management or Project Management
- Utilities or energy sector experience desirable
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
