Are you an experienced Gas Engineer with strong industrial and commercial metering experience? Do you want to take technical ownership of high pressure gas metering projects while developing your career within a growing energy business?

Our client is a leading organisation within the energy and metering sector, delivering specialist gas metering solutions across the UK. They are looking for a Technical Engineer to join their team and provide technical leadership across a growing programme of industrial and commercial metering projects.

You will lead the safe and compliant delivery of HP and IP gas metering installations and exchanges, acting as the technical authority for >2 bar metering systems. You will approve designs, manage technical queries, support PSSR compliance and provide technical guidance to engineers, contractors and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the natural gas industry, ideally metering or distribution, alongside IEng or CEng accreditation through IGEM. You will have strong knowledge of PSSR, IGEM standards and I&C metering, with the confidence to lead projects, manage contractors and work independently.
