Sector: Construction, EngineeringReference: BBBH278350_1786986585Senior Project Engineer - MEPRickmansworth / West LondonHybrid working - typically three days on site or in the office and two days from homeUp to 99,830 DOE + 12 % Pension, 33 days holiday + ProgressionFull-time / PermanentAre you a Senior Project Engineer, Engineering Manager or MEP Design Manager with experience coordinating complex MEP design and technical assurance within major rail infrastructure?This is a senior client-side engineering role supporting the delivery of MEP works across five tunnel shafts on a major UK infrastructure programme.With the civil engineering phase substantially complete, the focus is now on progressing MEP design into installation, followed by testing and commissioning. You will coordinate designs, manage technical interfaces and provide engineering guidance to ensure the package is properly assured and ready for delivery on site.You will work closely with designers, contractors, technical specialists and wider rail systems teams, challenging proposals where required and helping resolve complex engineering and interface issues.The Role:Providing engineering leadership across a major multidisciplinary MEP packageCoordinating mechanical, electrical and public health designsLeading technical assurance and design reviewsManaging interfaces between MEP works and wider railway systemsProviding technical guidance to contractors, designers and delivery teamsReviewing design changes and resolving engineering risksSupporting design acceptance and approval processesProviding engineering input during installation, testing and commissioningSupporting NEC and technical change processes where requiredPermanent position with long-term progression across a major infrastructure programmeThe Person:Significant MEP engineering experience across mechanical, electrical, public health or related systemsExperience as an Engineering Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Design Manager or similarPrevious experience within a rail environmentStrong design coordination and technical assurance experienceExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering interfacesExperience taking designs through review and into constructionGood understanding of installation, testing and commissioningConfident challenging contractors, designers and technical specialistsNEC experience or knowledge would be beneficialMajor rail, tunnelling or station experience would be advantageous Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
