This is an excellent opportunity for an Electronic Design Engineer to join an innovation-driven engineering company specialising at the top of their field. In this role, you will support the design team through new system designs, updates to existing products, and technical support for sales and manufacturing teams. You will work as part of a project team on assigned projects, while also contributing to technical design reviews to ensure systems are delivered to specification, on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a strong electronics background who enjoys hands-on design work, collaboration, and taking ownership of technical challenges within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
- Design hardware systems using analogue and digital electronics
- Produce technical specifications and supporting documentation for projects
- Carry out technical design reviews and checks on new and existing systems
- Provide technical support to engineers, project managers, sales and manufacturing teams
The Person:
- BEng in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
- Experience in electronic design including circuit design, embedded programming and microcontrollers, preferably using C
- Proven relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment β junior candidates will be considered
- Strong technical and manufacturing awareness with a practical mindset
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently using initiative
Full-time role based in Wick, Scotland.
