Overview
In this role you will deepen Siemens TIA Portal expertise while taking projects from concept to commissioning. You will design electrical and control systems for composite moulding processes and support the full project lifecycle within a specialist engineering business. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit team, handling design, programming, feasibility, and handover, with training and progression built in. This is a hands‑on, on‑site position with long‑term growth and international customer support opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Design electrical and control systems for composite moulding processes
- PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and produce drawings/specifications
- Support projects end-to-end from feasibility and BOM through commissioning and handover
- Provide technical support and training to customer engineers/operators
- Assist with build, commissioning and handover of installations
Key requirements
- Controls/Automation Engineer experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal essential)
- A couple of years' experience in a controls/automation role
- Full UK driving licence and passport for travel
