In this role, you will manage the commercial side of projects, covering take-offs, NEC contracts, change control, cost management and subcontractor relationships. You will also support junior members of the team and play a key role in securing new projects.With that, the ideal candidate will have Quantity Surveying experience within civils or highways, strong NEC knowledge, and a proactive approach to commercial management.The Role:Managing commercial aspects of civils and highways projectsManaging NEC4 contracts and change controlCompleting take-offs, building bills and cost estimatesMonitoring project costs, valuations and financial reportingManaging subcontractors, suppliers and commercial negotiationsSupporting and mentoring junior Quantity SurveyorsWorking closely with project teams to manage commercial risksHelping secure new projects and supporting company growth The Person:Quantity Surveying experience within civils or highwaysStrong NEC contract experienceKnowledge of Schedules of Rates and Methods of MeasurementProficient in Microsoft packages, particularly ExcelExperience with take-offs and cost managementStrong time management and organisational skillsProactive, motivated and commercially awareReference Number:
