This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist Design & Build contractor delivering complex healthcare projects across the UK, offering the chance to work on technically challenging projects while becoming a key figure within a close-knit and growing business.

This established Design & Build contractor specialises in delivering turnkey healthcare projects nationwide, with expertise in hospital refurbishments, new builds and specialist MRI installations. Having successfully completed over 1,000 healthcare projects, they have built an exceptional reputation through repeat business and long-term client relationships. Backed by a larger group, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team as they continue to diversify into larger projects.

In this role, you will report directly to the Directors, taking responsibility for contract negotiation, commercial management and financial control across multiple projects. Working closely with buyers, accounts and legal teams, you will oversee cost reporting, quotations and project profitability while playing an important role in winning and delivering larger contracts.

The ideal candidate will have strong main contractor Quantity Surveying experience, excellent commercial awareness, contract negotiation skills and the confidence to work closely with clients and senior stakeholders.

The Role

  • Managing the commercial aspects of Design & Build healthcare projects
  • Negotiating contracts and supporting legal reviews

  • Supporting delivery of specialist hospital refurbishment and new build projects
  • Office-based role with occasional nationwide site visits
