Office Based, commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Leicester, Newark-on-Trent and Grantham.

£70,000-£90,000 + Monday to Friday + Hybrid Working Available (3 Days Onsite) + Technical Progression + 26 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + Benefits.

The day to day responsibilities include the design, testing, development and implementation of all related electronic hardware design and system activities. The successful candidate will lead both new and existing product design projects. This role suits someone who is looking for their next challenge, enjoys working autonomously in the UK, and collaborating with global offices.

The ideal candidate must show real leadership experience, take ownership of their area and want to build an electronic division in the UK.

The Role:
  • Overseeing the design, test, development and certificating of electronic hardware products.
  • Overseeing both new product development and existing products projects.
  • Collaborate with global offices, some international travel will be needed (on average 3-4 times a year).
  • Hybrid working from Nottingham (2-3 days per week).
The Person:
  • Hardware Engineering Manager/ Senior Electronic Engineer / Principal Hardware Engineer/ Chief Engineer or similar backgrounds considered.
  • Must have real leadership and ownership experience.
  • Must have experience in the design and development of projects from start to finish.
  • Low-power / battery-powered design is highly desirable (wearables/medical/consumer a bonus, not essential).
  • Knowledge of IoT or connected device development.
  • Must be commutable to Nottingham and prepared for international travel.
