Overview
Mechanical Fitter — 22.50 - 25 Per Hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35. Factory based, commutable from Andover, Amesbury, Salisbury, Basingstoke, Thatcham and surrounding areas. Days based - 2 Month Contract.
Are you an NVQ level 3 qualified Mechanical Fitter looking to join a specialist precision engineering company to assemble, install, maintain and build mechanical equipment and systems across a variety of projects? Do you have experience working in a manufacturing environment, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and strong fault finding and problem solving skills across mechanical equipment? This is a well-established company who are recognised as experts within their industry, working with key blue chip companies in a variety of industries including oil & gas and aerospace to design, build and commission special purpose machinery. Due to the continued growth and increase in workload, the client are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter with experience in a Manufacturing Environment on a 2 month contract working 40 hours per week on a days based shift pattern with the possibility to increase with workload to provide routine maintenance and assembly of mechanical components.
Responsibilities
- Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems from engineering drawings

The Person / Qualifications
- Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering / fitting
