£40,000 – £55,000 + Technical Progress, further qualifications, specialist training, 25 days holiday, NEST Pension, no call‑out, paid sick days. Commutable from Bristol, Yate, Thornbury, Stroud, Dursley, Portishead and surrounding areas.

Overview: We are a small, growing company specialising in the design, build and service of highly specialised products for industrial, pharmaceutical and nuclear sectors. We are looking for a dedicated, motivated engineer with knowledge of vacuum systems, gas systems, compressors and instrumentation to join our team and deliver service, maintenance and build work on sophisticated products. You will work predominantly in a workshop, with occasional visits to customer sites (approx. 6 visits per year, each lasting one week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (15:00 finish on Friday)
  • Service and maintenance of vacuum systems and other instrumentation
  • Workshop based duties
  • Visits to customer sites – 6 per year, lasting one week each

The Person:

  • Hands‑on technical background
  • Knowledge of vacuum systems, gas systems, compressors, instrumentation or similar
  • Full UK driver’s licence
