Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work for a long-standing manufacturer, who will invest in you with extensive training in Gas Odorant systems. Established over 150 years, this chemical manufacturer has amassed a successful reputation for themselves and they are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to train into a specialised Gas Odorant Engineer role. In this role, you’ll be attending to the maintenance and PPM of Gas Odorant plant and delivery equipment. You’ll be attending to weekly travels (across the UK & Ireland) to deliver and respond to offsite engineering incidents. This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer looking to be trained into a niche area of engineering, and someone happy to travel on a weekly basis.

THE ROLE:
  • Maintenance, PPM of Gas Odorant plant and delivery equipment.
  • Fault-finding and smell investigation of gas odorant systems being delivered to customers.
  • Attending delivery of Gas Odorant systems across the UK & Ireland (weekly travel with some stayaways).
  • Full training in working with Gas Odorant systems.
THE PERSON:
  • HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering.
  • Experience working in Hazardous environments.
  • Full Drivers License.
