Production Supervisor-Lean Manufacturing Manchester (East)40K-50K plus benefits Mon-Fri, 37 Hours 8am-4pm (3.30pm on Friday)Are you a Production Supervisor with a real interest in lean manufacturing, change management and coaching staff?Then this unique, challenging opportunity with a large manufacturing business will interest you?This exiting role will supervise a team of assembly staff, but will also act as a change agent, moving from culture where they are told what to do, to own where they will be trained and coached to think of solutions for themselves.

The company are investing heavily in this area , both in terms of equipment and in developing staff to understand lean methodology , so you will have full support to make the changes.

This is a really rewarding position for the right candidate.

The Role Full time, permanent position on a large manufacturing site.

Supervising a team of 30-65 Assembly staff (depending on experience)Help implement and lead a culture of lean manufacturing principles across the team.

Coach staff in lean methodologies The Person Working background in a Production Supervisor or related role Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (ideally six sigma green belt or lean practitioner qualification)Demonstrable experience of coaching and mentoring staff Experience of managing change
