Do you have a strong working background in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement, and looking for a permanent role with a large manufacturing company? This is a newly created position so you can make this role your own. Further progression within the team/company is available.

You will work across a variety of manufacturing divisions within the facility, helping to lead CI initiatives whilst building an overall culture of using lean methodologies. It will begin by designing and implementing a new sustainable 5S system, then training and upskilling staff in lean/CI before moving on to a combination of coaching and mentoring staff whilst running CI projects. This is an exciting and challenging role where you can really utilise your knowledge and passion for lean/CI and support the company's growth.

The Role

  • Full time, permanent role based on a large manufacturing site
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean, kaizen, 5S/6S and other problem solving tools.
  • Coach and train staff to embed a culture of using lean principles to improve performance across the site.
  • Ultimately improve safety, quality and performance across the site.

The Person

  • Working experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Experience designing and rolling out Lean/CI/5S systems
  • Demonstrable working experience of delivering lean or continuous improvement projects/initiatives
  • Any formal lean qualifications would be preferred.
