An excellent opportunity awaits an infrastructure engineer or experienced systems administrator in a role offering exposure to modern technology, great technical variety and progression opportunities. This company is an innovative digital transformation partner supporting clients across key and critical sectors through their technology solutions and consultancy services.

In this role, you will sit between development and operations, helping to improve a mix of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation and Infrastructure as Code. You will also act as a key technical contact for the business, working with external IT partners and supporting alignment with IT security standards and certifications. This is a great opportunity to move beyond traditional infrastructure, working across a multi-cloud environment where you will help modernise the platform through IaC and have real input into its long-term direction. This is a hybrid role based 2 days per week in the Manchester office.

The ideal candidate will come from a systems administrator or infrastructure engineer background, with solid experience managing hybrid infrastructure and a strong focus on automation, cloud, and modern ways of working. You will be comfortable across Azure and GCP, familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, and take pride in keeping systems secure, stable, and well-governed. Most importantly, you can translate technical detail into clear updates for internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality platform.
