Are you from the electrical transmission or distribution world and looking for a role where you will be trusted to run your patch, build key relationships and genuinely develop your career in a fast-growing business?

Do you want a clear pathway to Senior level, backed by an ambitious company with quick decision-making and big plans for the next five years?

On offer is a secure, permanent position with a well-established infrastructure services group, where you'll be supported to develop in areas you're weaker, grow your portfolio responsibility and progress through a competency-based career pathway.

The company delivers end-to-end utility and infrastructure engineering services across the UK and beyond, with a strong reputation in power networks and the wider energy transition. As a result of continued growth and upcoming tendering activity across UK distribution networks, they are now looking to add to their commercial team.

In this role you will work from home with UK-wide travel, engaging targeted clients to understand requirements, shaping account strategy internally, and building strong internal/external relationships to win and retain work.

This role would suit someone with strong sector knowledge looking to step into, or further build, a commercial role with long-term development, autonomy and a clear route to Senior level.

The Role:

  • Home-based position with UK-wide travel as required
  • Account-focused commercial role targeting known organisations (no cold lead generation)
  • Build and develop client relationships across electrical transmission/distribution markets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to shape strategy, performance and improvements

The Person:

  • Market knowledge in electrical transmission or distribution (e.g., DNO/ICP/IDNO, cabling, EPC, substations, grid connections, BESS, solar)
  • Self-starter with strong teamwork and relationship-building behaviours
  • Full UK driving licence
