Overview
In this role you will strengthen and evolve the Quality Management System within a pharma-manufacturing environment, partnering with internal teams and suppliers to drive quality performance. You will conduct QMS audits, investigate non-conformances, and lead root-cause analysis to close actions and improve outcomes. The position offers solid technical development and progression within a well-regarded engineering business focused on continuous improvement. This is an office-based, permanent role with a strong quality-first culture.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System to ISO 9001 and UKAS requirements
- Support and conduct audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements
- Investigate non-conformances and quality issues using structured RCA tools
- Lead root-cause analysis using 5 Why / Fishbone / 8D and similar methodologies
- Support reporting of quality metrics and assist with customer complaint investigations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers/suppliers to drive quality performance
Key requirements
- Experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing quality role
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (or similar quality standard) and non-conformance management
- Familiarity with corrective actions and problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA)
