Excellent opportunity for a Lighting Engineer or Product Design Engineer with a couple of years' experience looking to develop their career in an award-winning company that heavily invests in training, upskilling and long-term progression.
On offer is the chance to work for a market leader, where you will be designing lighting products from cradle to grave up until the point of manufacturing, while also carrying out lighting design, calculations and layouts using industry-standard software.
The business has an innovative approach and has successfully diversified and expanded over recent years. As part of their success, they are now looking to increase the product development team and bring on someone with relevant lighting and design experience who is keen to continue developing their skills.
The day-to-day of this role includes collaborating with different teams throughout the business to lead design projects from concept to completion, with extensive support, mentoring and training provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience using SolidWorks and Adobe Suite
- Proficiency with Relux and/or DIALux
- A good understanding of manufacturing parts, assemblies and processes
- 2+ years' experience in lighting engineering, lighting design or product design
