In this role, you will split your time between the office and site visits, leading projects from early concept and tender stages through to detailed design and delivery. The Role:
- Producing structural design calculations across a range of sectors and materials
- Taking the technical lead on projects and running multiple jobs simultaneously
- Overseeing drafting staff and coordinating the preparation of drawings and tender packages
- Carrying out structural inspections, report writing and house surveys
- Liaising with clients, contractors and project teams to support successful delivery
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff within the office
- Exposure to diverse projects including fuel and energy sites, airports, commercial schemes and residential developments
The Person:
- Previous experience in a Senior/Principal Structural position
- Strong experience delivering projects across multiple sectors and using all common building materials
- Skilled in structural software packages (MasterSeries, AutoCAD)
- UK right to work (no sponsorship available)
