£40,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + APC Support + Career Progression + Training

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established surveying consultancy in Leatherhead, working across education, healthcare, local authority and commercial projects, with genuine long-term progression opportunities.

In this role, you will support projects from feasibility and cost estimates through to tender, contract administration and completion. You will work closely with the wider team, preparing specifications, tender packs and tender analysis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Specification experience
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts

The Role:

  • Preparing project cost estimates and feasibility studies
  • Producing specifications and tender documentation
  • Preparing and analysing tender packs
  • Assisting with contract administration
  • Working with JCT contracts
  • Supporting the wider surveying team across a range of projects
  • Assisting with project briefs and client requirements
  • Working across healthcare, education, local authority and commercial projects
  • Developing professional and technical knowledge through structured and informal training
  • Working towards professional qualifications with APC support

The Person:

  • Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying degree or similar
  • Experience within a surveying or construction environment
  • Real-world experience preparing specifications
  • Understanding of JCT contracts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and enthusiastic approach
  • Within approximately one hour of Leatherhead, with flexibility around hybrid working
