An excellent opportunity for an Engineer to join a well-established, industry leading manufacturer, offering the chance to develop both your technical skills and career within a supportive production environment. With more than 200 years of history behind them and continued growth ahead, the company is now looking to add a Junior Maintenance Engineer to their team.
In this role, you will gain skills across both mechanical and electrical disciplines while gaining exposure to a wide variety of plant and equipment. This position is ideal for someone with mechanical and/or electrical experience who is based within a commutable distance of Luton and looking to grow their skill set within a stable, well-established organisation.
The Role- Perform electrical maintenance and repair work, including installing and replacing fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring;
- Carry out PPM schedules as required;
- Complete repairs on all types of plant equipment in a safe, timely, and professional manner;
- Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to supervision/management.
37hrs, Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:15pm. Fridays 7:00am - 1:00pm or 8:00am - 1:00pm.

The Person- Basic mechanical and/or electrical experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
