Are you a design engineer looking to work with an industry leading company where you’ll be directly involved in cutting-edge projects?


This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an internationally renowned company in designing and testing innovative products whilst utilising their state-of-the-art facilities.


This company is at the forefront of developing advanced technology in the Rail and Electric Vehicle sectors on a global scale. They are well established with roots that date back over 60 years, and have around 8,000 employees in the UK alone.


This job would be well suited to someone with an academic background in an engineering, physics, or related titles as well as experience in the rail or automotive industry. Confidence using specialist design software such as Altium would also be a preferred skill.


The Role:

• Monday to Friday, 37 hours

• Using industry standard software to design and develop gate drivers for semiconductor devices

• Conducting in-house lab testing of circuits; including validation and calibration work

• Work with various departments to ensure on time and cost-effective prototypes produced within the expected budget


The Person:

• Experience with High Power/High Voltage Electronics

• Experience working in the Automotive or Rail Industry

• Masters or PHD in Engineering, Electronics, Physics or similar
