Are you an organised and detail-focused Bid Manager with experience managing bids, proposals or tenders from start to finish? Are you confident coordinating technical, commercial and sales teams to deliver high-quality submissions? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international telecommunications and technology organisation, where you'll manage strategically important bids across Defence, Government, Transport and Utilities.
In this role, you will coordinate the complete bid process, from the initial opportunity stage through to submission, deal review and post-bid activity. You'll work closely with Sales, Subject Matter Experts, Commercial Leads and Technical Leads to develop compelling written and financial submissions across a broad portfolio of network solutions and services.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing bids within telecoms, technology, infrastructure, the public sector or another services-led environment. They will be commercially aware, highly organised and confident managing multiple stakeholders, requirements and deadlines. Experience with Crown Commercial frameworks and an APMP qualification would be advantageous.
The Role:
- Coordinate bids from the initial opportunity stage through to submission and post-bid activity
- Work with sales, commercial and technical teams to develop high-quality written and financial responses
- Manage requirement matrices, cost reviews, deal reviews and bid governance processes
- Monitor bid progress, coordinate reviews and ensure actions, decisions and changes are recorded
- Support presentations, win-and-loss reviews and continuous improvement across future submissions
The Person:
- Experience managing or coordinating bids, proposals or tender activity from start to finish
- Strong project coordination, organisational and attention-to-detail skills
- Confident working with cross-functional sales, commercial, technical and operational teams
- Commercially aware and able to interpret customer requirements and financial bid information
- Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance and NPPV3 clearance; APMP or equivalent qualifications are desirable
