This company specialises in grid connections as well as a wide range of renewable energy technologies. Through innovation and quality of service, they now require a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to deliver end-to-end management of high-voltage renewable energy projects, from agreeing initial budgets, procurement including competitive tenders from the supply chain and forecasting budgets for financial reporting.
In this role, you will help the company continue its goals in growth, whilst providing a brilliant service by providing liaison on design, installation and commissioning to clients and supply chain partners. The Role:- Working across all business function teams and stakeholders proactively providing support and guidance to all parties on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
- Provide project management throughout the project life cycle including internal and external resource to ensure project goals are met.
- Organising and attending all project briefings and meetings with all stakeholders.
- Support the in-house design and engineering teams to generate equipment layouts, designs, cable schedules, testing and commissioning procedures.
- Experience as a Project Manager/Engineer within the utilities/electrical contracting industry.
- Experience and understanding of renewable energy technologies.
- Experience within the High Voltage sector.
- Experience of managing large teams throughout project lifecycle.
