Fitter / Mechanic (Specialist Training Provided) 30,000 – 35,000 + Overtime + Vehicle + Training + Progression + Company Benefits. Commutable from Croydon, Epsom, Streatham, Wimbledon, Mitcham, Purley, Orpington, Warlingham. Are you a Fitter or Mechanic with experience working on 2/4 stroke engines, looking to further your career with a nationwide company that will put you through specialist training to become a fully-fledged Mobile Plant Fitter? On offer is an exciting opportunity to develop your skill set and work on a wide range of plant equipment and machinery in a Monday-to-Friday-based position with no weekend work. In this role, you will cover a local patch servicing and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment across multiple sites in a local area. The company has an excellent reputation for looking after its staff, providing excellent training, future progression, great work-life balance and an array of company benefits. This role would suit a Vehicle Mechanic or Engineer with a strong understanding of 2-stroke / 4-stroke engines looking to move into a varied mobile role.

Responsibilities

  • Fault find, service and repair a wide range of light to heavy plant equipment.
  • Cover a local patch without staying away overnight.
  • Monday to Friday role with optional overtime to increase earnings.
