This company are designing a brand-new range of High Performance Computing components from 2 new offices dedicated solely to this new range. They developing two centres of excellence for this particular product range, one in The UK, and one in the USA. In this role you will lead a Team of 3 Senior Release Engineers whilst retaining a hands-on approach with the technology. You’ll be focused on Firmware Release predominantly working with CI Automation, Gitlab, Jenkins, Open and Closed source Software, as well as the strategy for the release of these Firmware updates. You’ll be based in the office 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have an Embedded Firmware Background (Embedded C) and have a strong experience of Firmware Release, both technically and from a strategic level. Candidates don’t need management experience but Team/Project Leadership is essential to be considered for the position. Candidates must have strong C programming and Automation skills (Python and Bash preferred), have experience across a range of open and closed source software, and be hands-on and capable with the development side of this role.
