Are you a Wireless Network Engineer with strong hands-on Wi‑Fi experience, looking to take technical ownership within a growing NOC and professional services team?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected connectivity and wireless solutions provider operating in complex and challenging customer environments. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their Network Operations Centre and are looking for an experienced engineer to act as the senior technical escalation point for wireless and network solutions.

In this role, you will sit within the NOC as the final escalation point for complex incidents, while also delivering professional services across customer sites. You will design, deploy, optimise and support wireless and network solutions, carry out Wi‑Fi surveys, produce technical documentation, and contribute to high-quality project delivery across a diverse customer base.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial Wi‑Fi experience, ideally including wireless surveys, design, troubleshooting and optimisation. Experience with tools such as Ekahau would be highly beneficial, as would exposure to wireless vendors such as Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, Cambium, Siklu or similar.

You will thrive in this role if you enjoy working in an MSP or service‑led environment, take pride in customer experience, and are happy with a varied role covering senior NOC escalation, BAU support, technical project work and mentoring junior engineers.

The Role:

  • Acting as the senior technical escalation point within the NOC
  • Designing, deploying, troubleshooting and optimising Wi‑Fi and network solutions
  • Delivering professional services including installs, upgrades, migrations and customer‑site work
  • Conducting Wi‑Fi surveys and producing technical documentation, including network diagrams and survey reports
  • Supporting complex wireless incidents and root cause analysis
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers within the team

The Person:

  • Strong commercial experience in Wi‑Fi / wireless networking
  • Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting or optimising wireless networks
  • Wi‑Fi survey experience highly beneficial
  • Ekahau experience beneficial but not essential
  • CCNA certified preferred; in-date CCNA is strongly preferred for candidates at the top end of the salary range
  • MSP, NOC or Service Desk background preferred
  • Comfortable in a role combining NOC escalation, BAU support and project delivery
  • Strong customer‑facing communication and presentation skills
  • Able to commute to Farnborough five days a week for at least the first six months
  • Full UK right to work and minimum five years’ UK residency
