Projects range from small maintenance works through to schemes valued up to half a million, including traditional heritage buildings, listed properties, schools, and modern commercial units. In this role, you will manage projects from inception through to completion, taking responsibility for specifications, tenders, planning applications, contract administration, and project delivery. You will oversee a variety of technical surveying projects while also mentoring junior staff and maintaining strong client relationships. The role offers a balance of office, home, and site-based working across Devon and Somerset.
With that, the ideal candidate will have strong building surveying and project-running experience, good technical knowledge of buildings and construction, and confidence managing projects autonomously within a consultancy or similar environment.
