Are you an Engineering Director with prior experience delivering MoD Projects looking for an immediately available 6 - 8 month contract role for a market leading defence company? This well-known, successful company is a market leader in that specialist industry. Due to unprecedented growth, they are now looking for an Engineering Director to join them for at least 6 months, but with the potential for a permanent opening.

You will be leading a variety of defence projects, including £100m+ projects for the MoD. As Engineering Director, you will be helping to lead an engineering function of circa 200 employees where you will be helping to execute & deliver multiple ongoing projects and providing leadership mentoring. This company has offices near to Bristol, where you can be based, but initially you would need to be able to travel to a site in Devon for circa 3 days a week.

This role would suit an Engineering Director from a Defence / MoD background, who is wanting an immediately available, days based contract role with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

The Role:

  • Leading a team of over 200 Engineers and projects starting from several million to £100m+
  • Executing and delivering Defence / MoD Projects
  • Offices near Bristol, but travel to Devon will be required – 3 days a week initially

  • Engineering Director with proven experience in delivering MoD Projects
  • Experienced in managing teams of circa 200 people
  • Looking for an immediately available, days based contract role with hybrid working available with expenses / hotels being covered if outside of the local area
