Overview
In this role, you will take ownership of bespoke mechanical projects from concept through to manufacture and installation. You will collaborate with customers, production, suppliers and project managers in a growing engineering environment. You’ll work on specialist projects with potential for travel and clear progression paths. This is an autonomous, hands-on design and project delivery position that combines technical design with practical installation oversight.

Responsibilities
- Design bespoke mechanical solutions from customer requirements through to manufacture and installation
- Create 3D designs and technical drawings and coordinate with Production, suppliers and Project Managers
- Own your projects end-to-end and engage with customers during surveys, installations and project meetings
- Travel to customer sites to conduct surveys and oversee installations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery
Key requirements
- Mechanical/Project Design Engineering experience
- Proficiency with Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar
- Commutable to Saffron Walden
