Are you a Service Engineer looking to join a leading UK company, with an excellent reputation, who offer industry training and give you the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through overtime? On offer is the chance to work in an autonomous role, where you will use your technical skills to provide reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of sites. This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer with experience working on diesel engines, who is looking to join a leading UK company where you will have the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and progress your skills.
The Role:- Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of generators, fault finding control panel, AC/DC electrical systems, genset synchronization
- £ to £ p/h basic, 39hrs per week - 8:00am to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 15:30 finish Friday (1 in 4 weeks on call rota with standby rate)
- Overtime - paid from 6:00am to 8:00am, then 16:30pm to 00:00pm/ paid 00:00 to 6:00am. (Current engineers do 20+ hours overtime weekly and earn between 70-80k)
- SE patch, based out of the Grays depot (patch covers all of London, Essex, up to Birmingham, across to Bristol, down to Bournemouth) no overnight stays required
- Electrical training can/will be provided
- NVQ in plant maintenance/equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working on diesel engines (generators, plant equipment, coaches/buses etc)
- Full, UK driving license
- Looking to develop your skills through industry specific training and courses.
