Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking to take a leadership role in delivering high-end AV, IT, and security systems for superyachts and luxury residences? This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of engineers, influence system design, and work with the latest technologies across exciting international projects.
In this role, you will consult on network design, configure and commission network hardware, and oversee the technical delivery and quality assurance of projects. You will also produce and maintain accurate documentation, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure networks are delivered to the highest standards, supporting both AV and telecom systems on site.
You will lead a team of engineers, manage interfaces with clients, shipyards, and contractors, and report progress and risks to the Project Management team. Coaching and upskilling your team to raise consistency across the department will be a key part of your responsibilities, alongside ensuring smooth technical project delivery on time and within specification.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-focused leader with excellent knowledge of wired and wireless networks, fibre optics, WAN connectivity, and firewall/security systems. You will enjoy hands-on commissioning, working with cutting-edge technology, and representing a world-renowned systems integrator in a high-quality, professional environment.
The Role
- Lead the delivery, commissioning, and technical quality of AV, network, and telecom systems on yacht and high-end residential projects.
- Manage, mentor, and upskill a team of engineers, ensuring consistency and excellence across technical delivery.
- Liaise with clients, shipyards, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful handover.
The Candidate
- Strong experience in network engineering, including routing/switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, firewalls, WAN, fibre, and IP telephony.
- Hands-on commissioning experience and ability to troubleshoot complex AV and network systems.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, calm under pressure, organised, and able to lead engineers effectively.
