Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Highly Autonomous + Specialist Training + Days Based + Enhanced Pension + EAP + 33 days holiday + Benefits

Site Based, Commutable from Windermere, Kendal, Sedbergh, Grange-over-Sands, Ambleside, Milnthorpe and surrounding areas.

Are you an Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or similar background and looking for the opportunity to massively develop your skillset working in a highly autonomous role within a niche specialist with continuous training and mentoring to cement you as the go-to engineer whilst working as part of a close-knit team in a days-based position?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to continue your development as an engineer through specialist training and mentoring, where you will be able to take the technical lead as the go-to engineer within the business showcasing your skillset and working as part of a close-knit team of experts within a niche field. This company offers specialist manufactured products that are supplied to a range of industries around the globe. The business has a global presence with multiple UK sites but still maintains a fantastic team culture at each individual site. They have an incredible reputation for retaining and investing in their staff and are looking to continue developing their team as they increase their manufacturing outputs.

In this broad and interesting position, you will be massively invested in through mentorship and continued training, working as the go-to specialist within the electrical field, developing into a fully fledged ECI engineer and contributing to the continued smooth operation of the site. This role would suit an experienced electrical engineer looking to continue their development and specialise into ECI, where you will be massively invested in and have the ability to work highly autonomously in this days-based role.

The Role:

  • Electrical Fault Finding, Maintenance and Service of heavy manufacturing equipment
  • Days Based, Monday to Friday
  • Mentorship / Training into Controls, PLCs & ECI

The Person:

  • Electrically Qualified Engineer
  • Experience in Electrical, Controls or Instrumentation - PLCs, Sensors, Automation or similar.
  • UK Drivers License
