Are you an experienced Operations Manager from a manufacturing environment, looking to take ownership of a well invested production facility and play a key role in improving performance, productivity and long-term business success? This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established UK manufacturer, offering a senior operations role with genuine influence and responsibility for driving site performance. The business operates from a well invested manufacturing site and supports long standing OEM customers. They are focused on improving productivity and streamlining workflows, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement across the site.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the manufacturing function. This includes production planning, delivery performance, cost efficiency, quality, people management and continuous improvement. This role would suit an experienced manufacturing operations leader who is looking for a highly visible position with autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

The Role:

  • Oversee day to day manufacturing operations and production performance
  • Lead and manage the site team, driving engagement and accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement and resolve operational issues across people and equipment
  • 40 hour week, 2pm finish on Fridays, 28 days holiday rising to 33 days

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing operations management role
  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or similar, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong track record of delivering productivity improvements and continuous improvement projects
