Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a secure, long‑term role within a major UK manufacturing business? This is an excellent opportunity to join the 5th largest timber company in the world, currently investing heavily in its UK operations. With ongoing expansion, we are looking to add an Electrical Engineer to our established engineering team.
As part of an experienced engineering team, you’ll take responsibility for electrical maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement across a large industrial site, including sawmilling, treatment, and biomass operations.
The Role
- Electrical maintenance, repair, and replacement of site equipment
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
- Reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding
- Working with motors, drives, control panels, and industrial machinery
- Working a 3‑shift rotating pattern
The Person
- Electrical engineering background (any industrial or manufacturing environment)
- Strong electrical maintenance and fault‑finding experience
