Location: Devon or Bristol (with travel to Devon 3 days a week)

Are you an Engineering Director with prior experience delivering MoD Projects looking for an immediately available 6 - 8 month contract role for a market leading defence company? This well-known, successful company is a market leader in that specialist industry. Due to unprecedented growth, they are now looking for an Engineering Director to join them for at least 6 months, but with the potential for a permanent opening.

You will be leading a variety of defence projects, including £100m+ projects for the MoD. As Engineering Director, you will be helping to lead an engineering function of circa 200 employees where you will be helping to execute & deliver multiple ongoing projects and providing leadership mentoring. This company has offices near Bristol, where you can be based, but initially you would need to be able to travel to a site in Devon for circa 3 days a week.

This role would suit an Engineering Director from a Defence / MoD background, who is wanting an immediately available, days based contract role with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

The Role:

  • Leading a team of over 200 Engineers and projects starting from several million to £100m+
  • Executing and delivering Defence / MoD Projects
  • Offices near Bristol, but travel to Devon will be required – 3 days a week initially

  • Engineering Director with proven experience in delivering MoD Projects
  • Experienced in managing teams of circa 200 people
  • Looking for an immediately available, days based contract role with hybrid working available with expenses / hotels being covered if outside of the local area
