Are you a Power and Controls Design Engineer with experience in electrical control systems, hydraulics or pneumatics, looking for a technically focused role working on bespoke engineering projects from concept through to delivery? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business where you will be responsible for the design and development of power and control systems to meet specific project and client requirements.
You will work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure designs are delivered safely, accurately and on time. In this role, you will be involved in producing and checking power and control designs, undertaking hydraulic and/or pneumatic calculations where required, and ensuring all engineering deliverables meet internal technical standards, client specifications and class approval requirements.

The Role:- Design and develop power and control systems to meet project and client requirements
- Produce and check design documentation and calculations ensuring compliance with technical and class standards
- Manage allocated engineering tasks to meet project schedules and quality requirements
- Power and Controls Design Engineer with at least 3 years relevant design experience
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering design practices
- HNC in an Engineering discipline with experience in hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems beneficial
