Overview
In this role you will maintain and fault-find electro-mechanical production equipment in a large, modern packaging facility. You will work nights on a 3 on/3 off cycle, delivering planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime. You’ll receive enhanced technical training across modern automation systems, supporting your career growth within a stable, specialist team. Responsibilities
- Fault-find, repair and maintain electro-mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a production facility
- Support a night-shift operation (6pm–6am) and contribute to continuous improvement
- Assist in adherence to maintenance schedules and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime and optimise machine performance
Key requirements
- Electrically biased maintenance background
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred
- Electro-mechanical maintenance
- Electrical fault finding
- PPM and breakdown troubleshooting
- Knowledge of specialist control systems
- Experience with automation systems (training provided)
