Are you an experienced Process Engineer looking for the opportunity to progress your career with an expanding company? Do you want the opportunity to use your existing knowledge to influence future plans? If successful, you will be joining an SME company with big progression plans. They aim to produce Biofuels for various agricultural machinery as well as working alongside Anaerobic Digestion facilities across the UK. They are currently expanding to their second office with the aim to further continue their growth over the next 5 years.
Your role within the company will involve:
- Reviewing and improving the design of existing products for enhanced process performance
- Maintaining and improving control programming
- Evaluating design proposals to upgrade products or provide cost savings
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in the Anaerobic Digestion sector as a Process Engineer and will be confident in how they can improve and enhance current projects.
The Role:
- Reviewing and improving the design of existing products for enhanced stability, efficiency, and reliability
- Developing technical specifications for the procurement of complete control system solutions, including software definition
- Working closely with teams to define and assess process safety requirements and specifications
The Person:
- Process Engineering background
- Engineering or Science Degree background
- Proficient in the preparation of heat/mass balance calculations, PFDs and PIDs
