Overview
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will own the commissioning of electrical and mechanical process and packaging plant across the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with Project Managers and engineering teams to ensure smooth installation and client handover, tackling fault-finding and sequence commissioning with software collaboration. The role offers varied projects, long-term development, and opportunities to grow technical expertise in a specialist engineering environment.

Responsibilities
- Commission electrical & mechanical process/packaging plant commissioning
- Electrical installation, fault-finding, and troubleshooting during commissioning
- Work from wiring and schematic diagrams
- Travel UK & Ireland with occasional international trips
- Support electrical installations and collaborate with software engineers on sequencing and PLC I/O fault-finding
- Coordinate with project managers and broader engineering teams to drive project delivery from installation to handover
Key requirements
- Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background with commissioning experience
- Electrically qualified with full UK driving licence
- Able to fault-find electrical systems including PLC inputs/outputs
- Electrical & mechanical engineering knowledge
