Are you a Senior/Authorised person in relation to Electricity networks (up to 33kV), looking for a regional position with a large, national multi utilities infrastructure business? This is a senior level, prestigious position where you will undertake the technical assessment of electrical engineers on electricity networks and be responsible for the Network Authorisations issued to operational Engineers. The role offers an excellent package plus the opportunity to progress within a company renowned for their professionalism and for looking after their staff. This is a great opportunity to use your experience and knowledge of the sector to assist and support staff and ensure their continued safety.
The role:
- Full time, permanent position with a large, national utilities infrastructure business.
- Assess Electrical Engineers working on electricity networks, including identifying training requirements.
- Work closely with the Safety and Technical Competence (STC) Manager with identifying operational competency gaps.
- Responsible for the Network Authorisations issued to operational Engineers.
The Person:
- Senior/Authorised Person and or IEng in Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in power distribution, up-to 33kV including knowledge of standards, policies and health and safety.
- Experience of managing/leading engineers including training and development.
