b Overview /b p You will drive growth for a leading multi-utility business by developing a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into secured projects. In this client-facing role you’ll build relationships with new and existing customers across the Midlands and South of England, coordinating with estimating and operations to shape viable proposals. You’ll manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to contract award, delivering impactful infrastructure solutions across electricity, gas, water, wastewater, fibre and clean heat networks. This role offers autonomy, progression and the chance to influence major utility projects in a growing market. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li car allowance /li li discretionary bonus /li li training /li li progression /li li pension /li li private medical insurance /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Develop and grow a strong pipeline across the Midlands and South of England /li li Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients /li li Identify and secure opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments /li li Manage enquiries from initial opportunity through proposal, negotiation and contract award /li li Collaborate with estimating and internal teams to develop commercially viable proposals /li li Represent the business at client meetings and industry events /li li Ensure smooth handover into project delivery /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience in a B2B business development or sales role /li li Experience within utilities, utility connections, construction or infrastructure is highly desirable /li li Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business /li li Strong account management and relationship-building skills /li li Experience managing opportunities through the full sales cycle /li li Based within the South West and willing to travel across the region /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li relationship-building /li li commercial mindset /li li client-facing professionalism /li li self-motivation and autonomy /li /ul
