Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (2 days/week working from home available)

Salary: 48-57K plus excellent pension and benefits

Are you an experienced Design Engineer with experience of designing utility (gas/water/electric/fibre or heat) networks looking to work for a large, national utility infrastructure company who will progress your career? The role allows for 2 days/week to be worked from home. The company is well known for their professionalism and staff progression. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in one utility to be trained to become fully Multi utility.

The role will focus on the design of offsite utility infrastructure, working on new projects.

The Role:

  • Full time permanent role with a large national utility infrastructure business
  • Production of offsite/enabling utility designs for new project awards (HV/LV/Gas/Water and Fibre)
  • Extensive client liaison including post award meetings to discuss scope of works.

The Person:

  • Academic/working background in design engineering
  • Experience in the design of one of gas, water, electric, fibre, and heat networks.
  • Experience in designing offsite utilities for new housing/mixed-use developments.
