The role would suit someone with previous experience in a Process Technologist role accompanied with a background in food manufacturing/production. In this role, you will be assisting in the delivery of new products & customer launches as part of a passionate & successful team.

The role:
- Driving the development of quality and safe products taking into consideration specific product parameters and customer requirements.
- Ensuring that ingredient/product information is accurate, up-to-date and consistent in the NPD system.
- Building relationships with the manufacturers, understanding capabilities and spending time on-site with their development teams to create exciting products efficiently, following the products through to the launch and beyond.
- Generate product labelling in compliance with relevant legislation to include proofreading from design to printing.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects.
- Generate internal & external project documentation.
- Attending factory trials and product launches at various locations across the UK.
- Sending samples for customer requests & hosting customer visits.
- Investigating new food trends and competitor activity at local & global levels.
The person:
- BSc Food Science/Technology (or similar) with 3 years' experience in NPD/process within FMCG.
- Knowledge of UK labelling legislation.
- A self-starter who shows initiative and excels in multitasking with attention to detail with excellent organisational & communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Relishes working in a fast-paced environment working independently and as a part of a passionate & successful team.
- A strong interest in food and awareness of market trends.
- Valid driving licence.
