Are you a CWNA-qualified Network Engineer with Wi-Fi surveying experience, looking to become the first engineer in a growing region for an award-winning connectivity consultancy? In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, work with cutting-edge wireless technologies, and play a key role in the company's continued expansion.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected connectivity and wireless solutions provider operating in complex and challenging customer environments. You'll split your time between delivering Wi-Fi surveys and providing 3rd Line NOC support. You'll be responsible for carrying out wireless surveys, supporting complex networking issues, and occasionally providing on-site support when conducting customer surveys. As the first engineer in the region, you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact while remaining supported by an experienced technical team.
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy working in an MSP or service-led environment, take pride in customer experience, and are happy with a varied role covering NOC escalation, BAU support, and technical project work.
The Role:
- Conduct Wi-Fi surveys for customer sites across the Midlands
- Provide 3rd Line support within the Network Operations Centre
- Support the design and optimisation of wireless networking solutions
- Occasional customer site visits alongside surveying activities
- Work closely with a growing technical team on complex networking projects
The Person:
- CWNA qualified
- Experience carrying out Wi-Fi surveys
- Network Engineering or Wireless Networking background
- Comfortable providing 3rd Line technical support
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
