Are you an experienced Utilities/Gas Engineer, with experience of operation and maintenance activities on gas distribution networks? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent role, covering a regional patch, for a large, national utilities infrastructure provider. The company has a superb reputation both for professionalism and for how they look after and progress their staff. This is a senior and responsible role offering autonomy and the chance to work regionally rather than nationally.
The Role:
- Full time, permanent field based role covering a Midlands patch for a large utilities company.
- Ensure gas network assets are maintained and operated satisfactorily including undertaking audits and site inspections.
- Team lead direct staff (up to 6) and also manage subcontractors.
- Ensure the fitness for purpose of operational equipment.
The Person:
- Experience at a senior level in Gas Distribution engineering.
- Experience of undertaking complex asset related surveys.
- Membership or working towards membership of Engtech.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
