Are you an experienced directional drilling professional looking to take ownership and build a brand-new division from the ground up within a fast‑growing, family‑orientated civil engineering business with a clear growth strategy? This role offers the chance to shape, grow, and own a new division with full autonomy to build the team, set the direction, and make it your own.
The business operates across utilities infrastructure, renewables including EV electrification projects, and new connections with ICPs and NAVs covering the South Coast up to Yorkshire. They are non‑corporate, flexible, and genuinely invested in the people who drive their growth.
The Role:
- Lead and build a brand‑new directional drilling division from the ground up
- Price and win new work across an existing customer base
- Travel UK wide, South Coast to Yorkshire
- Good autonomy and flexibility

The Person:
- Strong background in the directional drilling industry
- Experienced within a senior leadership position
- Capable of heading up a department and driving growth
- Able to price drilling jobs commercially
- Comfortable with UK‑wide travel
