Are you an Electrical Network Design Engineer with experience designing LV and HV electrical networks within the utilities sector? With continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their electrical design team with the addition of an experienced Electrical Network Design Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design of HV and LV electrical distribution networks, ensuring compliance with DNO, IDNO and industry standards. You will work closely with internal project teams, utility providers and customers to deliver technically robust and commercially viable designs from initial enquiry through to project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience designing electrical distribution networks within an ICP, IDNO, DNO or utility consultancy environment, with a strong understanding of network design principles, approvals processes and industry standards. - Producing electrical calculations, network designs, drawings and supporting documentation
- Ensuring compliance with DNO, IDNO, ENA and industry standards
- Liaising with utility providers, customers and internal project teams
- Obtaining technical approvals and supporting project delivery

- Background within an ICP, IDNO, DNO, utility contractor or consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of electrical network design standards and approvals processes
- Knowledge of substations, cable networks and utility infrastructure projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
